Hjorth & Co is run by me, Carina Hjorth, having more than 15 years of experience in translation. I am a qualified translator with a degree from the Institute for Interpretation and Translation Studies at Stockholm University. My early study path took me to the Sorbonne in Paris, followed by third level studies in French, English and Law in Sweden. After several years working in the medical sector, I resumed my studies, to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and qualify as a Translator. I do most translations myself, but, when dealing with large orders or during periods of intense activity, I also work closely with other translators. All partner translators are highly experienced, qualified translators.
